A webcam, which is attached to the 85-metre Leipziger Messeturm, broadcasts current images from the exhibition grounds around the clock. The data is transferred to the Messe administration building using wireless WLAN, and imported into the Internet. A live image delivers 15 pictures per second for a maximum of 20 users simultaneously. The camera can be controlled for a 40 second period (approx. 180 degrees horizontally and 90 degrees vertically). The live cam also features a zoom function.
